Around the world with tracks

So we are just about ready to release our fourth single ahead of our whole album, which we are looking to release by the Autumn.

I had mentioned at the very start that this was going to be an absolute learning curve for the pair of us. Having no clue about publishing platforms and how to even get our material on streaming services, we have had to navigate ourselves around it all as best we can. Easy if you are savvy with computers, not so much if you're a bit of a technophobe.

But it's paid off and our newest release is about ready to go. This tune is a chilled out summer vibe, think dancing under palm trees while white sand gets stuck between your toes. This is definitely one to play in the car with the windows down or whilst having a cocktail (not at the same time guys!)

We are immensley proud of the work we have done together so far and are looking forward to writing and releasing more songs as the years go by. I think we have caught a bit of the song writers bug and are keen to develop it as much as we can. We both have music and lyrics racing round our heads all the time. There's been a few times though where I've gone to bed

with an idea, woken up and completley forgot what it was about. It's a real head-slap moment and the immortal words of "I knew I should've written that down" are spoken. Although, if I wrote down every idea I had there would be note books all over the place and we wouldn't know where to start so maybe that's just as well.

I guess the strangest part about all of this is how we've been streamed in so many countries. I know it's probably just through random playlists and as background music but the geography covered is staggering. From the USA to the Phillippines it's baffling to think our music has travelled more then we have.

The plan moving forward now is to book some time back in the

studio and lay down onto tracks the new songs we have recently been working on. That's the thing about creating music, there's never an ending. You are always looking ahead to the next project. Whilst you are releasing one song you are working on the next, and that is just the way we like it.

We are fortunate to work in the music industry already, and are happy performing gigs across the Isle of Wight as an accoustic duo performing covers, but the thrill you get whilst getting to perform your own songs is magical, there really is nothing quite like it.
